Meet Dr. David Gamotis

Born and raised in Mobile, Dr. David Gamotis attended Auburn University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in zoology, magna cum laude, in 1999. He proceeded to the UAB School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2003 and his Master of Science in orthodontics in 2007.

In January 2008, Dr. Gamotis opened his full-time practice in Jasper. In 2013, he completed the final stage of the American Board of Orthodontics board certification process to become the first board-certified orthodontist practicing in Walker County.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Gamotis enjoys playing tennis and golf, skiing, boating, and spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife Jill have three children — Anna, Abby, and Andrew — as well as a dog named Sparky.
